An extraordinary five star eco lodge in the heart of the Amazon was our base camp and point of entry into discovering the beauty of our living planet and our selves.

Tour leaders Gnassi, Leif, Shaman Diego and all Sacred Journeys staff were wonderful and did a tremendous job in organizing our Magical Journey and in introducing us to the Andean culture.

The cocoa leaf ceremonies, tour of sacred sights and   meditations were all powerful but with out a doubt for all those that read this - the highlight was indeed the most sacred and reverend ayawaska ceremonies to the great mother guided by Diego, a   Peruvian Shaman and a man of the utmost integrity in his field.

These sacred shamanic ceremonies were unforgettable and life altering and again emphasized for only those truly serious on finding truth and more accurately stated - revealing the untruth in ones experience of existence. "Spirit Medicine's Shamanic tour of Peru was a profound journey. It blew me wide open. I could never even have imagined what I would experience.  I am in deep gratitude and awe for my journey - past and continuing....

Peru as a place and culture is amazingly beautiful and special. It has a distinct feeling of purity to it and is unique to any other place I have ever traveled. The people are very friendly and unassuming and maintain a relatively traditional lifestyle. The small town of Pisaq and the Sacred River Valley is spectacular, surrounded by the high Andes, with various Inca ruins, each to blow your mind.

At one end of the valley as it descends into high jungle is Machu Picchu. We arrived here close to the end of our tour, after we had completed the medicine ceremonies so we were all already wide open and receptive to this magical and mysterious place. I saw/felt in my imagination many beings and activities that once took place here. Like a waking, floating dream.... We did a beautiful entry ceremony with a Quechua Shaman/musician and there appeared a Condor (rare) and rainbow while we were there….. both important symbols in Inca tradition. Stunning!

My fellow journeyers and facilitators are amazing and special. A group of graceful, loving, dedicated, funny and intelligent people. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I fell in love immediately. We all connected very quickly and very deeply. Part of what the medicine brings. Peru felt like a lifetime of friendship and connection to people and place in just 10 short days!
